    Dear Tarek:

If you haven’t read the Euston Manifesto or the book, What’s Left? Please. do. They deal with the need for a new new left that is anti Islamist as does my list serve, Euston USA, which you are welcome to join. I’ll happily send you a copy of the book if you give me an address to send it to..

Your contribution do the conversation on Islamism and the hypcresies of .a culturally relativist left are invaluable.

Dear Tarek Sahib, I read your book Chasing the mirage, what a wonderful book by you. I am a just a learner, a student and think you have done a great job, telling the Islamic history without any favour or otherwise. neither influenced by Sunni or Shia nor any other bias. Your command on Arabic, English and Urdu has played a big role role in writing this book. What if you could write on history of Hadith, correctness, differentiate both authentic and unauthentic or additions or deletions or changes, over the period of time for any reason

Thank you for your kind words Waseem, but from my perspective, the issue is not about the correct or the incorrect hadees. It is about how to keep religion seperate from the state and politics.

Thank you, you are right Tarek sahib, but one of the reason or the main reason behind all this is inappropriate usage of Hadees. I am in my mid 50’s and have always seen putting a hadees forward in every situation, may it be 60s, 70s or afterwards in Pakistan. Also I have seen so many twists or changes in hadees. Anyway I see you as a trend setter, wish your book is taught in Pakistan at all levels. I did not know many things by the time I had read your book and tried to verify the contents with other sources. Regards

    Dear Tarekh Sahab,

It is for the first time I am seeing a member of Abrahamic Religions critically examining his faith. If there is a similiar attempt by other two brothers, then the thousand years of conflict and misery may come to end.

May God give you the strength in your endeavour.

    Tarek,
Just want you to know that we (in the west… the real west, of America) are appreciating your work to uncover the destructive elements in Islam. The fact that you are muslim and are not in accord with these ‘fanatics’ or supremacists, is reassuring. I wish more Muslims would speak out like you do.

Hi Tarek, I’m a long time fan and I’ve been trying to subscribe to your site to get notifications when you update but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. I’m not sure why that is, I’ve done this no problem with other websites. Clearly, I can’t rely on facebook notifications since they’re so screwy about shutting down your page without cause…I’ve double-checked my spam folder and there’s nothing there, so I’m not sure what else to do. Not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this.

I salute you my brother in-law (Nargis being my sister). You were the first person who revealed the real reason why partition of India took place. It was seconded by Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed on one of his recent column in the Dailytimes.
I am a member of the local Urdu Anjuman Berlin and was surprised that hardly anyone knew who you are. I gave them your website, talkshows and the books you have written. Hope if some day before you come to Berlin you will have enough fans to greet you.

God bless you, keep you protected and in good health

I am surprised, but always wanted someone from my Muslim brothren, to talk, not bad at all, but deliver constructive criticism about various injustices being allowed deliberately and or otherwise by interested sections in Muslim Religion. World has gone far from olden orthodox society to the present moving, thinking, criticising, and changing entity and no individual, community or Religion can escape the thinking public scrutiny and growing demand to evolve as per changing human values. Muslim Religion is a very gated religion and a major chunk of people prefer to keep it like that. Over and above that there is a major phenomenon of radicalisation as it is easy for misinterpretation of the contents as they wish by these wrong section. This is a religion in which any criticism coming out of it, even if it is genuine or positive is seen aggressively negative and objectionable. This is a very self damaging attitude and obstruct the possibility of correcting the wrongs therein. Hence, one who respect all religions, and who wish well for Islam, would look forward that maximum people within the religion itself raise voice and criticise the dangerous acts as well of injustices prevailing in it. In this context brother TarekFatah is a blessing for the religion itself and generally for a peaceful world. He is doing his duty to cleanse his own faith when they go wrong. Commendable Indeed. Love TarekFataji

I want to share an information with me. Some time ago say about 10/15 year back letter was published in daily news paper THE PUNJAB KESRI delhi edition front page editorial. This was written by 80 years old muslim 5 times namazi retired military person. According to this letter only reason to demand Separate Pakistan byJinnah was last wish of RAM RATTI.that she wants Jinnah to see first Prime minister of independent India. Jinnah promised her to fulfill her last wish. Nehru refused to do so. So there was no alternate left for Jinnah but to demand Separate Pakistan and fulfill last wish of.her beloved wife. This man also claimed that at one time he was very close to Jinnah and was driver of Jinnah. Letter can be traced in news paper records. I hope information is useful for you. Thanks

I recently started to see your blogs & interveiws and found extremely interesting & helpful to understand the complex of Islam. I am born in India and spent 21 years with all religious groups and visit sometimes being in Germany, and see quite a lot of Arabic influence on every corner of India, which was not the case during 60 or 70s which hard to understand of the lost local customs & traditions. Thanks to enlighten many and the courage to call a spade a spade!

Some months ago I heard Tarek speak, such an incredible man of knowledge, wisdom & courage. Few men confront the evils of terrorism & Pakistan so boldly. Keep up the good work & “live long & prosper”

  23. May 10, 2016 at 5:29 AM

There are only two things. A problem and a solution. Understanding them should be scientific, rational and practical. (called शृति, युक्ति and अनुभव in our tradition). The perfection in understanding depend on how comprehensive is one’s knowledge, how unbiased is one’s mind and how pure is one’s heart. You have good knowledge of the events, mirror like wisdom and loving heart, because you are a true Indian. Every true Indian is a citizen of the World. I’m proud to be your fellow Indian. But you have one extra quality of giving perfect response too quickly.

    Dear Mr. Fatah,

I am from Karachi, Pakistan, and I deeply respect your views and even agree with several of them (e.g. secularism). It is with this humbleness that I wish to ask you two questions.

In your interviews, you always stress on the need to speak the truth regardless of the consequences. I thoroughly agree with you on this one. My questions are:

1, What is the truth? Who determines the truth? Given that one man’s truth is another man’s lie (especially in the case of religious beliefs), how can we ever differentiate the truth from lies?

2, Given the role of media in shaping public opinion and views in today’s world, how can we ever search for truth? Consider this: Pakistani media tells us that India instigates terror in Pakistan and that is our truth. Indian media tells Indians that Pakistan is trying to destabilize India and that’s their truth. The media in the west tells its viewers that Islam means terrorism and that’s their truth. So how can we ever know which is the “truth of all truths”?

I look forward to your reply on these questions and I wish you lots of luck in all your future endeavours, especially in your battle against radicalization.

    Dear Mr. Tarek,

I had viewed your interaction with member of parliament at Canada, on you tube .
    You are fantastic…..
Also the lectures at various venue in India were a good provocation of thoughts for anyone with grey matter between the ears.
I am watching the program ” Fateh ka Fatwah ” on the channel. A good bold step for the channel as well as you to bring the topic in the open arena.
We do feel the rise of funny clothed muslims in the city of Pune at a faster pace during the last few years, which we felt as a overall surge of migrants from various states to this city due to job opportunities.
Can there be a different agenda to it … is also a feeling.
I have seen some young lads changing behavior from open minded person to reclusive being during my stay at gulf countries during 1990 to 1998…. Had seen the politics played at Iraq during the first gulf war.
your views and the opposition to it by the bearded fellows in all three episodes is taking note of.
would like to get more knowledge on the subject from you and would like to see some good countries in the making around India in the coming years.
What can we do to support the cause of Baluchistan.

    1. It’s the first Multi Level Marketing System with Network like operations and most power full till date.

    2. Lot of its edicts are similar to Mafia like operations.

    3. It has got some Pros , but Cons out weight them by a large margin.

One cannot ask a question about m103,Islamophobia, or the refugee Canadian process without being labelled a racist. In addition, if one tries to do research for themselves they will stumble upon all kinds of true racist websites that people like myself do not identify with . I have not come across any forum aside from yours that addresses these topics in a logical and intelligent way. Your voice needs to become part of the mainstream so that more Canadians can become educated and get involved. It seems to me that most Canadians do not even know what M103 is.
